LONDON'S TOWER BRIDGE




It is close to Tower of london situated over river Thames, has become an attraction of London. The bridge consists of two towers which are joined together at the upper level by means of two horizontal walkways. The operating machinery for opening the bridge in the center is based in the base of the towers.
The Tower bridge is sometimes mistakenly referred as London bridge, which is the next bridge upstream river Thames.
The bridge was officially opened on 30 june 1894 by the prince of wales Edward VII and his wife.


Raising of bridge: The bridge is not raised for visitors but is only raised when a commercial need arises, like a ship has to pass the river.

London Eye



The London Eye, previously, known as the Millennium Wheel, was constructed in celebration of the new millennium and has become one of London’s most famous landmarks.The wheel carries 32 sealed and air conditioned capsule, each representing boroughs, each capsule weighs 10 tonnes and carries 25 people The London eye was formally opened by then prime minister Mr. Tony Blair, but it was not opened to public due to some technical problem,  unt.il 9 march 2000.
